What to Expect

Triage

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by one of our client service representatives who will aid you through the check-in process and outline our hospital’s procedures. Your pet will be triaged immediately by a trained member of our staff. This process allows us to attend to our most critical patients first, so cases are not necessarily seen in the order in which they arrive.

Assessment

A professional staff member will collect your pet’s vitals and ask you questions about their history and current condition. The doctor will review this information, perform a physical exam, and discuss the findings with you to create a diagnostic and treatment plan. An estimate of costs will be provided for your approval and authorization before moving forward.

Treatment

We have 7 days a week, 365 days a year, round the clock advanced care when your pet needs to stay in the hospital with us. The hospital is always staffed with a doctor and medical team specifically trained to treat emergency and critical cases. Not only do we focus on your pet’s medical needs, but we make every attempt to keep them comfortable and happy while staying with us.

Communication

We will continually update you and your regular veterinarian on your pet’s condition during their stay with us. You are welcome to call at any time, and visits can be arranged during hospital stays.

Discharge

Verbal and written discharge instructions for at-home care will be provided. We do recommend that you directly contact your pet’s regular veteri¬narian after visiting our clinic. A follow-up call will be made to you, but please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time with questions or concerns. Your pet’s recovery is our goal!
