Melissa has worked with VVERC for over 6 years, and has been in the veterinary field itself for close to 20, starting at the Humane Society and slowing progressing through the ranks, from General Practice, to finally settling in Emergency Med. Alongside being the CSR Supervisor, Melissa is also the Cultural Ambassador for Valley and is immensely proud of our program, finding fun and creative ways to lighten the atmosphere at the hospital, whether it be through contests or simply having a group huddle with funny icebreaker questions. 

Her greatest accomplishment in life has been raising her beautiful daughter, Serena, who is currently pursuing her own business adventures while she attends college. Melissa is also an overprotective mom to her 2 cats, Beetlejuice & Nala. 

In her down time, Melissa enjoys all things spooky! Who ever said the only time to get scared is around Halloween?! Melissa regularly attends Horror Conventions, getting to meet some of her favorite scary movie actors, and has an extensive collection of Horror memorabilia. She also enjoys going to the movies, reading, and has an addiction to opening blind boxes.
