Dr. Nicholas Milano grew up in Livingston, New Jersey.  The son of a physician and a nurse, he had always harbored an interest in the medical sciences, but chose to pursue an accounting degree at Bucknell University. When working as an accountant proved too exciting, Dr. Milano decided to adopt the quiet, serene life of a veterinarian.

After graduating from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Milano pursued advanced training as a rotating intern at a busy referral hospital in New Jersey. He received a further six months of specialty training in dentistry and oral surgery before heading into general practice.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Milano can usually be found at the movies, working out, reading a book, or looking for a good place to hike. He’s excited to have joined the staff at VVERC and can’t wait to explore everything this part of Virginia has to offer.
